Sie geh\u00f6rt zu den popul\u00e4rsten St\u00fccken dieses urspr\u00fcnglich rein spanischen Genres, welches sich auch in Lateinamerika, insbesondere in Mexiko und Kuba, ausbreitete. Die Zarzuela, die man bis zu einem gewissen Grad als spanische Operette bezeichnen k\u00f6nnte, verbindet auf unterhaltsame Weise folkloristische Elemente mit klassischer, oft durchaus opernhafter Musik sowie Tanz und Dialog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eLuisa Fernanda\u201c, die bisher \u00fcber zehntausendmal aufgef\u00fchrt worden sein soll, bringt all das aufs Sch\u00f6nste heraus. Das St\u00fcck artikuliert zudem die Gegens\u00e4tze zwischen der feinen Gesellschaft in Madrid und dem Landleben zur Zeit der spanischen Revolution im September 1868, im Spanischen auch \u201eLa Gloriosa\u201c genannt. Sie f\u00fchrte zu Abdankung und Asyl von K\u00f6nigin Isabella II. infolge des Sieges des republikanischen Aufstands. Darum spannt sich eine Liebesgeschichte um die junge Madrilenin Luisa Fernanda, die zwischen einem reichen Gro\u00dfgrundbesitzer aus dem S\u00fcden, Vidal Hernando, und dem bereits lange mit ihr verlobten jungen Milit\u00e4r Javier Moreno steht. Im Kampf um die Angebetete wechselt Hernando sogar die Fronten und wird zum Republikaner, nur weil Javier sich aus vor\u00fcbergehender Sympathie zu Carolina, einer Dame des Hofes in Madrid, den Monarchisten anschlie\u00dft. Auch wenn Luisa Vidal die Ehe versprochen hat, kommt es schlie\u00dflich nicht dazu, da er erkennt, dass ihre Liebe zu Javier, der schon f\u00fcr gefallen galt, aber unerwartet zur\u00fcckkehrt, gr\u00f6\u00dfer ist. So entl\u00e4sst er sie mit einer sch\u00f6nen \u00dcberzeugung aus ihrem Versprechen: \u201eUn coraz\u00f3n que perdona no es una carga que pesa.\u201c \u2013 \u201eEin Herz, das verzeiht, ist keine schwere Last.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regisseur Davide Livermore schuf dazu ein einfallsreiches B\u00fchnenbild im Stile eines Theaters im Theater. Im Teatro Dor\u00e9 laufen st\u00e4ndig Schwarz-Wei\u00df-Filme aus alten Zeiten und bilden so den historischen Hintergrund und Kontrast \u2013 mit dem seinem Ende entgegen gehenden bourgeoisen Leben in der Hauptstadt \u2013 zum lebhaften und meist bunten Geschehen des Heute auf der B\u00fchne. Die Kampfszenen und Explosionen der Revolution werden allerdings allzu folkloristisch nur auf den B\u00fchenparavents angedeutet, wo sich das doch im Teatro Dor\u00e9 etwas dramatischer empfohlen h\u00e4tte. Umso mehr Gewicht legen Livermore und seine B\u00fchnenbildner der Designers Artists Architects Gi\u00f2 Forma, die Kost\u00fcmbildnerin Mariana Fracasso, der Beleuchter Antonio Castro sowie Nuria Castej\u00f3n mit einer exzellenten Choreographie auf die eigentliche Handlung mit all ihren Emotionen, einer entsprechend intensiven Personenregie, schmissigen Tanzszenen und stets guten Chorensembles (Leitung Antonio Faur\u00f3). Bestens abgestimmtes audiovisuelles Design kam von Pedro Chamizo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yolanda Auyanet war mit ihrem klangvollen Sopran eine brillante Luisa Fernanda. Moreno Torroba sah f\u00fcr die Titelrolle allerdings einen Mezzosopran vor. C\u00e9sar San Mart\u00edn gab mit seinem geschmeidigen Bariton einen ausdrucksstarken Vidal Hernando und Jorge de Le\u00f3n mit pr\u00e4gnantem Tenor einen Javier Moreno auf Augenh\u00f6he. Roci\u00f3 Ignacio sang die Carolina mit einem facettenreichen Sopran. Die zahlreichen Nebenrollen waren durchwegs gut besetzt. Das Publikum ging mit gro\u00dfer Emotion mit und spendete nach allen offenbar sehr popul\u00e4ren Arien und Duetten begeisterten Applaus.
