Beg\u00fcnstigt durch den Corona- Sonderweg der Landesregierung, bringt das Haus eine beispielhafte Premiere als deutsche Erstauff\u00fchrung vor zwar pandemiebedingt limitiertem, immerhin aber physisch im Gro\u00dfen Haus anwesendem Publikum heraus. Das vor knapp anderthalb Jahren am Br\u00fcsseler La Monnaie uraufgef\u00fchrte Werk setzt die Titelfigur samt Gemahlin unter permanenten Wiederholungszwang. Der Fluch der b\u00f6sen Tat ist, dass sie immer von neuem durchlebt und dabei in ihrer gr\u00e4sslichen Sinnlosigkeit fortschreitend offenbarer wird. Wahnsinn und kryptisches Raunen, wie es die Sprache im Shakespeare-St\u00fcck zul\u00e4sst, werden im Libretto von Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Boyer auf die Spitze getrieben. Dusapins Musik verleiht dem orgelbrausende und streichersatte orchestrale Struktur sowie eine vokale Pr\u00e4gnanz, die sich besonders im Fall der Lady auf der spannungsgeladenen Schwelle zwischen rhythmischem Sprechen und Arioso bewegt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regisseur Lorenzo Fioroni erz\u00e4hlt \u2013 soweit das Geschehen es zul\u00e4sst \u2013 stringent und billigt daher dem Wahnsinn so einiges an Methode zu. Die Zw\u00e4nge, unter denen der Schottenk\u00f6nig und seine Lady stehen, zeigen sich auf diese Weise desto augenf\u00e4lliger. Permanentes H\u00e4ndewaschen und das Klopfen an Burg- und H\u00f6llenpforte geben ihrem untoten Dasein den Takt vor. Eros und Thanatos flie\u00dfen ineinander \u00fcber. Wenn die Lady in Dessous und rittlings einen Sarg besteigt, gewinnt das ebenso plakative wie eindr\u00fcckliche Bildkraft. Die \u201eHexen\u201c wiederum formieren sich zu anmutigen, von klassischen Ballettchoreographien inspiriert moralinfreien Gr\u00fcppchen jenseits von Gut und B\u00f6se. Paul Zoller baut f\u00fcr den Spuk eine wie mit Leichent\u00fcchern ausgeschlagene B\u00fchne, von der eine riesige, sich oft in gef\u00e4hrlicher Schr\u00e4ge aufstellende Bettstatt aufragt. Entscheidend zur Gesamtwirkung der Produktion tragen die Kost\u00fcme von Katharina Gault bei. Macbeth steht wortw\u00f6rtlich verstanden in Unterhosen da, die Gemahlin legt sich auch garderobenm\u00e4\u00dfig eine Vamp-Attit\u00fcde zu, die allzu dick auftr\u00e4gt, um nicht den Verdacht zu erwecken, darunter verberge sich ganz anderes. Die \u201eHexen\u201c in wei\u00dfen Tutus muten mit leicht ironischer Note versehen h\u00f6chst grazil an, in Smoking und Stahlhelm charmant-frech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wie szenisch, so ist der Abend auch musikalisch ein Treffer. Die Damen des Opernchors hat Jaume Miranda zu verlockend-boshaftem Glei\u00dfen und attraktiv-gef\u00e4hrlichem Zirpen inspiriert. Justus Thorau realisiert mit dem Saarl\u00e4ndischen Staatsorchester Dusapins Partitur gleicherma\u00dfen analytisch scharfsinnig und sinnlich zupackend. Streicher und Orgel treiben ihr klanglich opulentes Unwesen. Peter Sch\u00f6ne steigert seinen Bariton f\u00fcr die Titelfigur im Laufe des Abends in den auftrumpfenden, aber vergeblichen Kampf gegen das Verh\u00e4ngnis. Die Lady misst bei Dshamilja Kaiser vokale Facetten aus, die von robustem Eros und handgreiflichem Verbrechen bis zu Irrsinn wie aus dem Lehrbuch und luzidem Wahn reichen. Hiroshi Matsui gibt den Ghost mit Stentorbass.
