Mit 50 Jahren hatte Rameau 1733 seine erste Oper \u201eHippolyte und Aricie\u201c auf die B\u00fchne gebracht. Der Vorlage von Racine folgend, k\u00f6nnte sie ebenso gut \u201ePh\u00e8dre\u201c hei\u00dfen. Denn die m\u00e4chtige Frau, die ihren Stiefsohn aktiv begehrt, steht im Zentrum der Geschichte. Dessen Geliebte Aricie ist ebenso eine Nebenfigur wie der zeitweise totgeglaubte Gatte Ph\u00e8dres, Th\u00e9s\u00e9e. Der Rest des Personals ist staatstragende Umrahmung. Mit G\u00f6ttern und Nebenfiguren, die auf die Spitze der Machtpyramide zulaufen. Es macht Sinn, dass Patrick Zielke, als G\u00f6ttervater Jupiter unschwer als ein den XIV., XV. und XVI. zusammenfassender, gealterter Ludwig zu erkennen ist. Der f\u00e4hrt in goldener Kutsche vor, ruft das ber\u00fchmte \u201eDer Staat bin ich\u201c und setzt das folgende franz\u00f6sische Welttheater in Gang, \u00fcberstrahlt es aber l\u00e4ngst nicht mehr. Hier liegt ein atmosph\u00e4risch melancholisches Abendlicht \u00fcber der Szene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regisseur Lorenzo Fioroni und Barockspezialist Bernhard Forck am Pult haben ihre gek\u00fcrzte Fassung der f\u00fcnfaktigen Trag\u00e9die lyrique zu einer Melange aus gro\u00dfer Show, entfesselter Theateropulenz und hintersinniger Haupt- und Staatsaktion gemacht. Es wird stringent erz\u00e4hlt, die Entstehungszeit reflektiert und dabei das Wissen der Nachwelt um den Untergang des Ancien R\u00e9gime dezent in die entfesselte Bilderflut integriert. Die barocke Contenance wird bei all den kleinen St\u00f6rversuchen von auftauchenden Hippie-Demonstranten oder den (immer dosiert bleibenden) Video-Einblendungen, die sozusagen in die damalige Zukunft blicken, immer gewahrt, denn das Publikum im Saal (der famose Chor) ist barock ausstaffiert und macht so den Zuschauerraum zum Teil der B\u00fchne von Paul Zoller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sophie Rennert ist eine mit Aplomb und Intensit\u00e4t zupackende Ph\u00e8dre, die den begehrten Stiefsohn unmissverst\u00e4ndlich in Dessous empf\u00e4ngt. Charles Sy ger\u00e4t dabei als Hippolyte sichtbar in die Bredouille, bleibt aber mit seinem tenoralen Schmelz immer in der Spur. Er und seine Geliebte Aricie (Amelia Scicolone) sind in ihrer Aufmachung aus unserer Gegenwart in die Zeit der Intrigen von G\u00f6ttern und Konventionen gefallen (Kost\u00fcme: Katharina Gault). Und entfliehen am Ende mit gepackten Koffern auch dorthin. Die B\u00fchne ist eine Mischung aus B\u00fchne, Garderobe und Requisiten, bietet aber dennoch Platz bietet f\u00fcr perfekt sitzende, verfremdende Balletteinlagen (Choreografie: Pascale-Sabine Chevroton). Wie ein Revuegirl aufgeputzt, treibt Marie-Belle Sandis als Oenone und Amor das Verh\u00e4ngnis voran. Bei seinem Ausflug in die milit\u00e4risch beherrschte Unterwelt handelt Th\u00e9s\u00e9e (Nikola Diski\u0107) eine R\u00fcckkehr zu den Lebenden ab. Dass er die H\u00f6lle, die er zu verlassen glaubt, dann bei sich daheim vorfindet, weil sich seine Frau gerade seinen Sohn gef\u00fcgig machen will, ist der dramatische Clou des St\u00fcckes.
